A heating upgrade consists of the installation of a new efficient heating system which is suitable for gas and oil. Existing pipework can be utilised or new pipework can be installed. To get the best out of the new boiler it is advised that the radiators are also upgraded as they are more efficient and produce more heat. The provision of a new hot water cylinder is also installed which is factory insulated which helps retain hot water for longer periods.
New heating controls are installed which help maintain the temperature of each room, these are also known as room stats. The use of zoning which is a very cost-effective way of saving energy.

Warmth and well-being applicants identified by HSE and SEAI qualify for this measure with no cost involved. Only some homes in the warmer homes scheme qualify for heating ie.

Our qualified plumbing team will assess the best way to carry out the heating installation with as minimal disruption as possible to the homeowner. We would advise the homeowner on the estimated length of the job depending on the scheme and agree with the location of the boiler, room stats etc.
We aim to deliver a very high standard of service and workmanship to ensure that the SEAI standards are met. We provide homeowners with a system manual containing instruction for operation and advise them to get in contact as soon as possible if they experience any system problems.

Through the HSE and SEAI CDM work in partnership to improve the living conditions of people living with a chronic respiratory disease. The scheme is carried out in Dublin 8,10,12,22 and 24. The scheme is fully grant funded entitling homeowners to a complete new retrofit of their home.
