By providing this upgraded measure it will significantly decrease the homeowner's bills due to reduced heat loss. The combined Attic Insulation, Triple Glazed Window and External Wall Insulation has resulted in heating cost savings of up to 80%. A successful post BER Rating of B1 was achieved for this home.
Internal wall insulation dramatically reduced the likelihood of condensation on internal wall surfaces. An insulated plasterboard was fitted to the inner surfaces of the homeowners external walls. A vapour layer was also inserted in order to seal the insulation against air penetration.
